在古代，人們把六稱為陰數(shù)，九稱為陽數(shù)。九月九這一天，兩陽相聚稱之為“重陽”，這一天又叫做“老人節(jié)”，是我國一個歷史悠久的節(jié)日。
今天下午，值勤過后，我就和同學(xué)一起坐43路車回家。車上很擠，我好不容易才找到一個座位，就一屁股坐下了，可以好好的休息一會了。
可是，車剛過了一站地，有一位老爺爺上車了，他微微駝背，大概六十多歲的. 樣子。我馬上就想到了要給老人讓座，但又轉(zhuǎn)念一想，自己好不容易才坐下，讓了怪可惜的。
怎么辦??？到底是 讓還是不讓？我想，身為一個少先隊員，如果我不讓的話，那又怎么對得起我胸前的紅領(lǐng)巾呢？不能再想了，我一定要讓。于是，我站起來，說：“爺爺，您來坐吧！”只見爺爺笑了笑，然后慢慢地坐下，并對我說：“真是好孩子！”我聽了以后，心里也樂了，因為我做到了。
雖然我失去了一個供我休息的座位，但是，我卻得到了表揚的話語和愉快的心情，這是多么快樂呀！
尊老愛幼是我們中華民族的傳統(tǒng)美德，我們一定要讓這種精神繼續(xù)發(fā)揚光大！

In an ancient and mysterious book Yi Jing, or The Book of Changes, number "6" was thought to be of Yin character, meaning feminine or negative, while number "9" was thought to be Yang, meaning masculine or positive. So the number nine in both month and day create the Double Ninth Festival, or Chongyang Festival. Chong in Chinese means "double." Also, as double ninth was pronounced the same as the word to signify "forever", both are "Jiu Jiu," the Chinese ancestors considered it an auspicious day worth celebration. Thats why ancient Chinese began to celebrate this festival long time ago.
The custom of ascending a height to avoid epidemics was passed down from long time ago. Therefore, the Double Ninth Festival is also called "Height Ascending Festival". The height people will reach is usually a mountain or a tower. Ancient literary figures have left many poems depicting the activity. Even today, people still swarm to famous or little known mountains on this day.
第九個農(nóng)歷月的第九天是傳統(tǒng)的崇陽節(jié)日，或是雙第九節(jié)。通常是在公歷的十月。在一個古老而神秘的書中，或是改變的書，“6”被認為是陰的，意思是陰性的，而數(shù)字“9”被認為是陽，意為陽性。所以在這兩個月的`九個月創(chuàng)造了雙第九節(jié)，還是崇陽的節(jié)日。中國的“重”意味著“雙”，如“雙第九”被宣布為“永遠”這個詞一樣，“永遠”，都是“九”，中國人認為這是一個值得慶祝的日子。這就是為什么古代中國人在很久以前就開始慶祝這個節(jié)日的原因了。
為了避免流行病，上升的高度的習(xí)慣是從很久以前就傳下來的。因此，“雙第九節(jié)”又叫“身高提升節(jié)”。高處的人通常是一座山或一座塔。古代文學(xué)人物留下了許多描寫活動的詩歌。即使在今天，人們還是要在這一天群到的或鮮為人知的山脈。
