我的媽媽雖然表面上看不出她有什么特長，但她可有一肚子墨水哩，媽媽最擅長英語了，她能講一口流利的英語，我打心眼里佩服媽媽。
媽媽是在酒店工作的，經(jīng)常會和一些外國人打交道。有一次，我到媽媽酒店參觀，正當我參觀的時候，媽媽在和一些外國人交談，媽媽說得非常流利、發(fā)音準確，交談時，我聽他們說得象外星語，特別快，我聽得頭暈腦脹，可媽媽好象一位真正的老外，他們不停地交談。忽然，他們交談停止了，老外向媽媽滿意地點了點頭，向媽媽說了聲“Thank you very much..”然后滿意地走了。后來一問媽媽，原來剛才的三位老外在向媽媽詢問他們的房間在幾樓以及酒店的主要設施、結構，哇！如此難的問題，媽媽竟然對答如流，佩服，真是佩服。
媽媽的英語是靠練出來的，我聽爺爺講，媽媽小時候天一亮就起來讀書了，捧著英語書大聲朗讀，放學回來后，媽媽更是勤奮，不斷做英語練習，高聲朗讀課文，并認認真真做好筆記。翻開她的.書一看，上面全部清清楚楚的記滿了，讓人賞心悅目。
一項困難的語言，只要你認真學，不斷讀，有堅持不懈的精神，就一定能取得成就。就像媽媽的英語一樣，最終取得成就！

However, I was very thirsty and wanted to buy a large bottle of milk to drink, but I didn’t have enough money left because even a small box of milk would cost me 2 yuan and I needed 2 yuan to pay the bus fare. 這次比賽意義非凡，我一生也忘不了，因為我從這次比賽中懂得了成功只留給那些準備充分的人！
