擴(kuò)展:英語(yǔ)作文寫作技巧
一、積累詞匯
初中學(xué)生在閱讀理解方面最大的障礙就是詞匯量的缺乏,而擴(kuò)大詞匯量絕非死記硬背就能做到。最有效的方法就是大量接觸各種不同體裁的英語(yǔ)文章,利用“在句中記,在文中記”的方法來(lái)積累詞匯。因此我們指導(dǎo)學(xué)生依據(jù)英語(yǔ)報(bào)刊的特點(diǎn),按欄目、話題、題材、體裁歸類收集常用詞,將出現(xiàn)頻率較高的常用詞匯積累到單詞本子上,查字典寫例句,初步學(xué)會(huì)這些單詞的運(yùn)用,放在身邊,利用零散時(shí)間反復(fù)記憶,加強(qiáng)印象。還要求學(xué)生給出與單詞有關(guān)的同義、近義、反義和詞形相似的詞,使詞匯量得到最大限度的復(fù)現(xiàn)。如:反義詞appear/disappear,crowded/uncrowded,polite/impolite/rude。詞形相似的詞except/expect,chance/change/challenge。這樣,通過(guò)大量的詞匯練習(xí)不僅僅能有效地積累詞匯,還為組句打下了基礎(chǔ),同時(shí)還能訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的發(fā)散性思維和總結(jié)、歸納、比較的能力,為學(xué)生正確使用詞句奠定了良好的基礎(chǔ)。
二、活用詞句
當(dāng)學(xué)生有了一定的詞匯量的時(shí)候,教師在教學(xué)中可以采用先易后難的方法,讓學(xué)生用簡(jiǎn)單的詞組成句子,再以句子的構(gòu)成作為學(xué)生進(jìn)行寫作訓(xùn)練的起點(diǎn),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生從對(duì)單個(gè)句型的掌握,逐漸過(guò)渡到多種句型的混用,直到學(xué)生能連貫自如地表達(dá)思想。一句多譯,句型轉(zhuǎn)換,是書面表達(dá)能力的關(guān)鍵??偟膩?lái)說(shuō),教師在平時(shí)的教學(xué)中要將日常生活中經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)的詞、句作為材料讓學(xué)生訓(xùn)練,使學(xué)生樂(lè)于接受,輕松完成,享受成功感。
例如:以study為中心組成句子。
I study in No.3 Middle School。I study very hard。My sister studies in the same school。But she studies harder than me。等等。
三、創(chuàng)設(shè)情景
例如,學(xué)生舉行運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì),開“生日聚會(huì)”,以“A sports meeting”和“My birthday party”為語(yǔ)境,讓學(xué)生在活動(dòng)中仔細(xì)觀察,親身體驗(yàn),然后試著用自己所學(xué)的.語(yǔ)言知識(shí),表達(dá)“A sports meeting”和“My birthday party”這些話題。在我們新教材的每個(gè)單元中,都設(shè)有寫作訓(xùn)練題,它們用英語(yǔ)設(shè)置語(yǔ)境,用英語(yǔ)提示內(nèi)容,這些寫的練習(xí),與我們平時(shí)用漢語(yǔ)給語(yǔ)境、用英語(yǔ)完成段落的方式相比,更為理想。當(dāng)然,教師在設(shè)立語(yǔ)境話題時(shí)要與學(xué)生的水平和能力相適應(yīng),應(yīng)從簡(jiǎn)到難,從淺到深進(jìn)行。否則,學(xué)生會(huì)無(wú)從下筆,久而久之,他們會(huì)失去信心。
四、注重聽、說(shuō)和閱讀的培養(yǎng)
在英語(yǔ)寫作中聽、說(shuō)、讀、寫應(yīng)同步發(fā)展。寫作是一種語(yǔ)言輸出形式,只有語(yǔ)言輸入大于語(yǔ)言輸出,語(yǔ)言輸出才有可能。英語(yǔ)寫作訓(xùn)練作為英語(yǔ)綜合能力訓(xùn)練之一,是與英語(yǔ)的聽說(shuō)讀不可分割的,它們是相互影響、相互作用的有機(jī)統(tǒng)一體,必須注重聽、說(shuō)、讀、寫能力的同步發(fā)展。
比如筆者實(shí)施多年的“五分鐘課前演講”:在上正課前五分鐘里,要學(xué)生用英語(yǔ)講述一個(gè)故事(積累素材);或者課前朗讀一篇短小精的文章,讓大家課后模仿;或者就大家平時(shí)關(guān)心的話題寫一個(gè)發(fā)言稿或演講稿進(jìn)行課前發(fā)言;或者讓學(xué)生自立主題,圍繞自己喜歡的主題寫一段話。這種課前訓(xùn)練取得了很好的效果。
五、寫英文日記
要養(yǎng)成記英語(yǔ)日記勤練筆的習(xí)慣。經(jīng)常用英語(yǔ)記日記等于天天在練筆,這無(wú)疑是提高英語(yǔ)寫作行之有效的好辦法。在記日記時(shí),不要總是用簡(jiǎn)單句,要有意識(shí)地用一些好的詞組、句型和復(fù)合句等,使文句更優(yōu)美生動(dòng)。對(duì)一些所給情景寫的文章,寫好后要對(duì)照一些范文,找出差距,然后再去練習(xí),不僅能促使學(xué)生及時(shí)鞏固所學(xué)的知識(shí),還能鍛煉他們的恒心和學(xué)習(xí)毅力,同時(shí)對(duì)提高英語(yǔ)作文也是很有幫助的。只有這樣,學(xué)生才能通過(guò)多練習(xí)提高英語(yǔ)寫作水平。
總之,學(xué)生英語(yǔ)寫作水平的提高不是一朝一夕的事,英語(yǔ)寫作能力培養(yǎng)的訓(xùn)練方法也是多方面的,因此需要我們英語(yǔ)教師在教學(xué)工作中不斷探索、不斷研究,總結(jié)出一些更富有創(chuàng)新活力的英語(yǔ)寫作方法。鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生平時(shí)要多積累語(yǔ)素材,要求他們堅(jiān)持長(zhǎng)期寫作訓(xùn)練,做到善于思考、勤于訓(xùn)練、勇于探究,充分發(fā)揮學(xué)生的潛力。久而久之,學(xué)生的寫作水平就會(huì)有大幅度的提高。
