擴(kuò)展：英語作文寫作技巧
一、積累詞匯
初中學(xué)生在閱讀理解方面最大的障礙就是詞匯量的缺乏，而擴(kuò)大詞匯量絕非死記硬背就能做到。最有效的方法就是大量接觸各種不同體裁的英語文章，利用“在句中記，在文中記”的方法來積累詞匯。因此我們指導(dǎo)學(xué)生依據(jù)英語報刊的特點(diǎn)，按欄目、話題、題材、體裁歸類收集常用詞，將出現(xiàn)頻率較高的常用詞匯積累到單詞本子上，查字典寫例句，初步學(xué)會這些單詞的運(yùn)用，放在身邊，利用零散時間反復(fù)記憶，加強(qiáng)印象。還要求學(xué)生給出與單詞有關(guān)的同義、近義、反義和詞形相似的詞，使詞匯量得到最大限度的復(fù)現(xiàn)。如：反義詞appear/disappear，crowded/uncrowded，polite/impolite/rude。詞形相似的詞except/expect，chance/change/challenge。這樣，通過大量的詞匯練習(xí)不僅僅能有效地積累詞匯，還為組句打下了基礎(chǔ)，同時還能訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的發(fā)散性思維和總結(jié)、歸納、比較的能力，為學(xué)生正確使用詞句奠定了良好的基礎(chǔ)。
二、活用詞句
當(dāng)學(xué)生有了一定的詞匯量的時候，教師在教學(xué)中可以采用先易后難的方法，讓學(xué)生用簡單的詞組成句子，再以句子的構(gòu)成作為學(xué)生進(jìn)行寫作訓(xùn)練的起點(diǎn)，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生從對單個句型的掌握，逐漸過渡到多種句型的混用，直到學(xué)生能連貫自如地表達(dá)思想。一句多譯，句型轉(zhuǎn)換，是書面表達(dá)能力的關(guān)鍵?？偟膩碚f，教師在平時的教學(xué)中要將日常生活中經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)的詞、句作為材料讓學(xué)生訓(xùn)練，使學(xué)生樂于接受，輕松完成，享受成功感。
例如：以study為中心組成句子。
I study in No.3 Middle School。I study very hard。My sister studies in the same school。But she studies harder than me。等等。
三、創(chuàng)設(shè)情景
例如，學(xué)生舉行運(yùn)動會，開“生日聚會”，以“A sports meeting”和“My birthday party”為語境，讓學(xué)生在活動中仔細(xì)觀察，親身體驗(yàn)，然后試著用自己所學(xué)的.語言知識，表達(dá)“A sports meeting”和“My birthday party”這些話題。在我們新教材的每個單元中，都設(shè)有寫作訓(xùn)練題，它們用英語設(shè)置語境，用英語提示內(nèi)容，這些寫的練習(xí)，與我們平時用漢語給語境、用英語完成段落的方式相比，更為理想。當(dāng)然，教師在設(shè)立語境話題時要與學(xué)生的水平和能力相適應(yīng)，應(yīng)從簡到難，從淺到深進(jìn)行。否則，學(xué)生會無從下筆，久而久之，他們會失去信心。
四、注重聽、說和閱讀的培養(yǎng)
在英語寫作中聽、說、讀、寫應(yīng)同步發(fā)展。寫作是一種語言輸出形式，只有語言輸入大于語言輸出，語言輸出才有可能。英語寫作訓(xùn)練作為英語綜合能力訓(xùn)練之一，是與英語的聽說讀不可分割的，它們是相互影響、相互作用的有機(jī)統(tǒng)一體，必須注重聽、說、讀、寫能力的同步發(fā)展。
比如筆者實(shí)施多年的“五分鐘課前演講”：在上正課前五分鐘里，要學(xué)生用英語講述一個故事（積累素材）；或者課前朗讀一篇短小精的文章，讓大家課后模仿；或者就大家平時關(guān)心的話題寫一個發(fā)言稿或演講稿進(jìn)行課前發(fā)言；或者讓學(xué)生自立主題，圍繞自己喜歡的主題寫一段話。這種課前訓(xùn)練取得了很好的效果。
五、寫英文日記
要養(yǎng)成記英語日記勤練筆的習(xí)慣。經(jīng)常用英語記日記等于天天在練筆，這無疑是提高英語寫作行之有效的好辦法。在記日記時，不要總是用簡單句，要有意識地用一些好的詞組、句型和復(fù)合句等，使文句更優(yōu)美生動。對一些所給情景寫的文章，寫好后要對照一些范文，找出差距，然后再去練習(xí)，不僅能促使學(xué)生及時鞏固所學(xué)的知識，還能鍛煉他們的恒心和學(xué)習(xí)毅力，同時對提高英語作文也是很有幫助的。只有這樣，學(xué)生才能通過多練習(xí)提高英語寫作水平。
總之，學(xué)生英語寫作水平的提高不是一朝一夕的事，英語寫作能力培養(yǎng)的訓(xùn)練方法也是多方面的，因此需要我們英語教師在教學(xué)工作中不斷探索、不斷研究，總結(jié)出一些更富有創(chuàng)新活力的英語寫作方法。鼓勵學(xué)生平時要多積累語素材，要求他們堅(jiān)持長期寫作訓(xùn)練，做到善于思考、勤于訓(xùn)練、勇于探究，充分發(fā)揮學(xué)生的潛力。久而久之，學(xué)生的寫作水平就會有大幅度的提高。
